Abstract
This paper presents preliminary results regarding the project "Quality, evaluation, and accreditation of ICT mediated education", particularly analysis done with thirteen experts on long distance education who spoke about the successful experiences they've had on their academic programs. The content of the document will be of interest to the variety of people involved in long distance education, from managers, designers and tutors, because it provides relevant knowledge over said educational modality.
