E-learning in teacher education as a way of introducing the ideological discourse in education

Abstract

El Gobierno Federal ha estado impulsando en la formación de profesores, su capacitación y su práctica, el uso de las TIC en las instituciones de educación superior, bajo una imagen de modernidad que conlleva progreso que, en el caso de la educación, implica mayor calidad de los servicios. Sin embargo, se percibe un discurso globalizante y hegemónico que encuentra tierra fértil para su difusión con el uso de estas tecnologías, de modo que cabe la reflexión sobre si su promoción obedece más a criterios academicistas o bien, como medio de enculturamiento.
