This paper is part of a study that explores the relationship between university teachers in Mexico and the construction of the dispositions to technology from the perspective of social theory of Pierre Bourdieu, in a scenario where investment in technology infrastructure in universities advances increasingly, but teachers are reluctant to integrate technology into their teaching practices despite the various strategies of technological literacy on the part of universities. This provides a major challenge for higher education to the combination of infrastructure, technological literacy and available for teachers to integrate technology research where the lines are dominated by economic and political outlook, with little emphasis on the social and cultural. This case study reveals that teachers build their ICT dispositions through their various trajectories along life symbolic capital formation is a close link between cultural capital, social and economic development for the appropriation of technologies.References
