Calidad, gestión y acreditación de los posgrados a distancia.

En este documento se presentan algunos resultados1 del proyecto de investigación “Gestión de la calidad en los posgrados a distancia: un estudio diacrónico de casos (2003-2005)”,2 cuyo objetivo fue identificar y analizar los criterios e indicadores asociados con la calidad de los posgrados a distancia. Se aplicó una metodología de estudios de caso siguiendo en el tiempo a una muestra de programas de posgrado a distancia, en el que se toman en cuenta variables e indicadores relacionados con la gestión de la calidad. De entre los resultados obtenidos, destacan los siguientes: identificación de los criterios más usuales que se aplican para valorar la calidad educativa, así como una tendencia general hacia la acreditación de programas e instituciones que tienen ofertas a distancia.
